sin duda este blog no estaria completo sin un pequeño homenaje al que daria origen a muchos de los sonidos los cuales hemos escuchado en miles de canciones, el maestro, the soul brother n#1, the godfather of soul funk, el gran James Brown. fallecido recien el año pasado y con toda una vida dedicada a la evolucion de la musica, a la vanguardia, brown pasa a ser una leyanda, uno de los pioneros del funk, el padrino del soul. Brown, nacido en georgia, en 1933, dedico su musica a la liberacion de la gente de los ghettos, especialmente a toda su raza, lucho contra la discriminacion racial, estuvo preso una infinidad de veces, en fin tubo una vida bastante agitada, aparecio en no se cuantas peliculas e hizo la banda sonora de no se cuantas mas. sin duda James brown paso a ser un martir del hip hop y estilos similares, o quizas de la musica en general.
